Wow, it was great to reconnect with Dorothy's. The pecan egg shipped all the way across the country with no problem. It's shipped with a cold pack.
The flavor is just as spectacular as remembered. The pecan egg is a wonderful melt-a-way delicacy, so rich. Dorothy's recipe uses high quality ingredients and makes a fine European chocolate.

This was the first year I tried this egg. It will definitely be on every Easter order I place again!
The filling is indescribably perfect! It is light and creamy - not as light and airy as a mouse but not as heavy as the creamiest of fudge either. It is almost magical the way it melts away from the huge pieces of pecans, coating the palate with delicious chocolate as it paves the way for the tasty mouthful of fresh pecans to be savored next... allowing you the maximum enjoyment both delicious taste treats.

This was the first time I had items shipped to my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren in VA. Dorothys made sure that they included and ice pack since the temperature was in the high 70's at the time. Everything arrived in perfect condition within 2 days. I tracked everything online and was able to tell them exactly when to expect the package. The fact that I went during an open house that had one price shipping and 10% off eveything made the experience even better. Great place, great products.
