I loved fruit and nut eggs as a kid. I haven't had any real great ones in my adult life. I ordered this 1 pound treat in hopes of finding a good egg. This was superb. Didn't start eating on it until Easter. No sweets during lent. Tasted quite fresh. Creamy and full of whole nuts and fruit chunks and the best chocolate ever. Well worth every cent! Still enjoying it this week.

For some reason, fruit and nut Easter eggs are now only available in candy kitchens. Believe me; after 72 years on the planet, I can say I am a connoisseur. Dorothy's are the best! The recipe and the chocolate are superb. Also, they slice perfectly, as thin or thick as you wish without collapsing the egg. Five stars x 10!

Wonderful. My Mom is 95 years old living in a nursing home. Her favorite has always been fruit and nut eggs. I have not been able to find any in this area. Received the egg for her Easter. She was happy and in fact is sharing some with her care givers. They have all agreed that it is the best chocolate they have ever tasted and could not believe how good the fillins is. Thank you.

For some reason, I used to get these in my Easter basked as a kid. I don't know that I liked them then, but now they're a nostalgic guilty pleasure. This egg is not like the one's I remember -- it's so delicious with lots of fruit and nuts. Perfection!

I sent this classic fruit & nut egg to a colleague who had fond memories of this from childhood. He'd had trouble finding a top-quality version on the marketplace. Only could find a pink version with smaller pieces of fruit via Vermont Country Store but it wasn't nearly as fine a quality as Dorothy's Candies! Thumbs up for the best product out there. This sells out so don't wait too long to order as it's a limited run at Easter. Enjoy! 6 stars!

I buy this 5 lb. Fruit and Nut egg for my Dad in Indiana every year. It is a masterpiece of deliciousness. My Dad hoards it for himself like a squirrel with a nut. Each trip to it's hiding place is awarded with a morsel of his chocholate egg. It has to last him until next Easter. I love my Dad and my Dad loves Dorothy's CHOCOLATE FRUIT & NUT EGG!

The fruit and nut egg is delicious and packed with good stuff. My only negative was the postal service left my box on my driveway and it rained. Thankfully the packaging was such that nothing was disturbed inside the box. Next time I will have items delivered to my work address. Love Dorothy's Candies.

Every since I was a small child living in Philadelphia, Pa. I always had a BIG Fruit and NUT Chocolate Egg in my Easter Basket. Such f0ond memories. Now I am retired in Arizona and STILL crave my Childhood desire for Easter Eggs. I search high and low and Found them at Dorothy's.
Now I have them shipped to me here. They are to die for! You will not find better Easter Eggs anywhere. Cannot wait until next Easter.

We ordered the five pound fruit and nut egg. Having been born in McKeesport, Pa. we have fond memories of how delicious this egg is. Even though we moved to California, we still order this egg for Easter. We have See's Candy in Ca., but their eggs do not compare with Dorothys. Wish it wasn't so expensive.

I grew up in McKeesport and was introduced to Dorothy's candies in the mid-1950's! I've been eating it since. There is nothing like Dorothy's and NO ONE anywhere makes Easter candies that compare!

I have been loving Dorothy's Fruit & Nut Egg at Easter Time since I was a child. At 61 I'm still loving it although I have to be a little more careful about how much I eat in one sitting. I used to have to send relatives into the store to order and ship but now I can get them over the internet. Life is good!
